Place du Parlement
The Place du Marché Royal (Place du Parlement) was created under Tourny in 1760 to form a link between the river and port and the city and business. The buildings are all of three storeys with elaborated façades pertaining to the rococo style of architecture: mascarons (sculpted heads) for the finest floor, decorated keystones for the upper floors and wrought ironwork window railings.
