Cours Georges Clemenceau
This was originally a promenade that encircled the city in 1745, after starting life as a rough track outside the city walls. Houses were gradually built on the Cours Clémenceau, named after the minister who was to be twice Prime Minister, in the first quarter of the 20th century.
